Spoken Love

Unheard Voices Productions

A stage, a microphone and a single spotlight. Idris embarks on an adventure of self discovery filled with love, longing, and dreams… with a little bit of drama. His journey starts on an empty stage, where fear fills day lungs as stage fright finally takes over his life. From the build up of his crippling mind, Idris uses spoken word to help him cope through his ups and downs, representing how the arts is not only a form of entertainment but also an escape. After finding the girl of his dreams, he is pushed to take the stage once more, and now he stands again in front of an audience – addressing the conflicts that surround his life.

Spoken love is for those who have a passion for expressing yourself in diffent ways, even when times get hard. This play is directed by Unheard Voices Productions. This company started by Jessica Bresnahan and Leandro Thomas-O’Connor to shed a light on mens mental health and finally put a spotlight a subject they feel passionate about. With a beautifully diverse cast, staring Athyth Suthakaran, Ellen Headley, Zain Murad, Malaika Opany and Sean Doherty.
